DEVIL RAYS 9, YANKEES 4

DevilRaysJpg.jpg

Oh, how I love when Yankees fans go apoplectic three games into the season.

Meanwhile, a Red Sox fan over at Yanksfan vs. Soxfan muses about paid official designations of Yankees sponsors:

Tonight listening to the Yankees radio broadcast, Charlie Steiner cited "Krispy Kreme, the official doughnut of the Yankees radio network". What exactly does that mean? How can a radio network have an official doughnut? Does the doughnut make appearances at all Yankees radio network functions? Does the doughnut donate money to charity each time the Yankees radio network hits a home run? Does the doughnut put in personal autograph signing appearances at local convention halls? How can radio waves have an official pastry? The mind boggles...

For the record, Krispy Kreme is the official doughnut of Side Salad.

For what it's worth.

Mmm, Krispy Kreme. The only establishment that escapes my not inconsiderable ire for using superfluous "K"s in their name. The one on Kennedy should have the hot/now sign on right about now...

I actually called the KK in Brandon to ask what the hot light schedule was.

Hah. Now if we could only get one in Lakeland, life would be complete. That drive to Kissimmee is asstastic.

I am so seriously addicted to Krispy Kreme, I applied to work there at least once a week for three months.
They must have known I'd just sneak-eat way past my salary limit.

BAH! Hotties Donuts in Altamonte Springs kicks the fat-laden ass of Krispy Kreme... as Eric Stoltz said in Pulp Fiction, "[Hotties] will take the Pepsi Challenge with that [Krispy Kreme] sh*t any day of the week".

KK has a necklace they sell has a flashing medallion replica of the HOT NOW sign.

I threatened to hang it above my marital bed as an overt nonverbal signal.
