IN CASE YOU MISSED IT...

RachaelRay.jpg...I wrote a centerpiece story Wednesday about Rachael Ray, the culinary cupie doll who has become the face of Food Network. I had a fun time doing the story and talked to some great people.

In the story, I refer to the photos that she posed for in FHM magazine. We couldn't link to them in the paper, obviously, but with the magic of blogging, I can do so here:

A new technique for cleaning a strawberry, perhaps?

Turkey looks a little dry, m'dear.

Dishwashing liquid, Madge? Yes, you're soaking in it!

Oh. Fudge.

She's annoying as hell. That show where she goes to crappy restaurants on $40 a day or whatever? I think I saw her eating burnt chicken at a dive in Nashville and never watched it again.

"his chipmunk-cheeked culinary concubine."
that was priceless!

I don't think she'll ever stop talking, but I like her show. I just have to stop watching whenever she gets to be too much!

And about your previous post, I hope the salad doggies didn't get gas from all that redi-whip!

Jeff, I just noticed when I use the letters l m a o together, my comment was "denied for questionable content." but when I deleted them, it was accepted.
ahh well, maybe that is for the better. let's see if this comment goes through.

She's beyond annoying. I'd love to tell her what she can do with her stupid bottle of E.V.O.O.

Such nastiness for a woman who just likes to cook and by chance, hit some pay dirt by creating a "brand" for herself. Lordy. Sure, she's a tad too chipper for my tastes but those photos show she's got some serious spunk. My Food Channel favorite is Paula Deen (who I believe you also wrote about). Lord - there is some good old-fashioned food made the fat way.

P.S. Glad to see you're back! With dog antics to boot. My Lab is sleeping on some bed in this house. Let me see shaking up the Reddi-Whip cannister will get him moving.
